If you're looking for a great real estate agent, I want to highly recommend Marshall Longtin. He is also a Green Lake dad.
We met with Marshall when we were trying to decide whether to move or remodel to make room for our growing family. He came over to give us a free consultation and gave us his honest feedback on the potential of our house. Based on his knowledge of the area and his experience with other remodels in the Green Lake area, he pretty much convinced us that remodeling was not the right path for us. Less than a week later, a house came on the market we were interested in and we called Marshall back to show us the house. We ended up putting in an offer. He helped us do all the right steps and put in the best possible offer within a very tight timeline and we got the house, beating out multiple other offers!
What I like about working with him is his straight forward no nonsense approach. He didn't try to sell his services to us - not pushy at all. He is very responsive to emails, phone or text - which is very important to me. I also liked that he made everything easy for us, in terms of most things being electronic rather than on paper. Maybe that's standard nowadays, I'm not sure, but it sure makes things a whole lot easier for two busy working parents.

Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $650K in Loyal Heights, Seattle, WA.
Marshall helped me buy, and sell my first home. I wanted something I could fix up but had good bones, and his eye as a former general contractor combined with his many years in the real estate overall meant he could consider structure and market at the same time. We got me something I was able to improve during my tenure, and when it was time to sell, I went back to Marshall to ask his guidance. He connected me to other professionals he works with to prepare the house for marketing and sale, which was great because I had moved out of state and needed to have people on the ground I could trust. We got strong interest with his pricing recommendation, and he checked all the top bidders to understand what the various offers meant, and the sale exceeded my expectations. We had a fast close and no problems.
